Can't use McDonald's gift cards in their mobile app

Beware! Y'all cannot use the gift bill of fare on mobile order.
Basically when y'all buy their gift card y'all don't get to enjoy their offers and deals considering all those offers and deals on the mobile app. I chosen their customer service they say that their It team is working on information technology, it was 4 months ago and when I called them today they're still working on information technology and so basically a their advice to me is to Wait.

Hopefully they'll add gift card support to their mobile app presently and do it the same way that Starbucks does. I accept a lot of souvenir cards with smaller amounts then it'd be nice to exist able to merge them all together easily within the app.

Use them in the bulldoze-thru or become within. I know it tin be a hassle if y'all are used to a McD'south worker to bring it out to you lot instead (similar the girls on roller skates used to practice in old movies), but non every app is perfect. They might be lying to yous and this is exactly the manner they want it set up.

The fact is, Gift Cards aren't always redeemed and they're great for a business. Only similar when there'south 12 cents left information technology goes into the garbage instead of existence redeemed at the shop.

The McD app is one of the worst food apps I have used. Yous can't place a pickup guild without existence exterior the restaurant. The app will cheque location and but send the order when I am outside. At which point, it is admittedly useless. I can just become in and as well place the same order, or just goto the bulldoze-thru.
